My Race For Life 5K blog
As everyone already noticed on most of my different social accounts I decided for this year I took part to do the 5K Race For Life in Caernarfon since 12th May 2024. I have done this for my uncle who's currently battling with cancer and also doing it for those who have lost their loved ones and others that are still fighting with cancer. Pictures that are taken on here is all on my phone.
This morning we set off from Bangor at 9:30am arrived in Caernarfon just before 10am since we got over to the football filed located on Aber Foreshore Road as where the race goes along. As we arrived into Caernarfon the town centre was quite completely devastated as there weren't many people about being on a Sunday, they were quite a few parked cars about as some people from out of the area that came to see the important event taking place on this day.
Everyone here seen facing towards the stage preparing for their warm ups.

After arriving in the field I then came to meet my friends before they arrived in whiles we walked to the middle of the filed and then started to head over to the stage whiles about to do some warm ups before we started racing. Comes to 11am we about to head over to the start line as the countdown starts ticking down.

As the countdown goes to zero we all started to make the run! We ran from 5K all the way down along Aber Foreshore road passing the golf club as far to Ty Calach and turned back by sticking on the left lane. I started to job abit then suddenly I walked just to give myself abit of energy then started to run again. Weather conditions during the day was hot, as for normal people out for their daily exercises we began to sweat. The road going all that way towards the turning point was pretty scenic where you can look over towards Newborough beach located in Anglesey and along the area as where they kept most of the boats and seeing jet boats float past us, so basically I always like to run and watch over the shores which still keeps me feel more positive.

So as we turned over heading towards all the way to the finish line as I was taking my time walking back as I decided to put my phone away so I concentrated myself to gain abit of confidence and went straight towards the end at the finish line and my 5K run is completed!
