These new Evoras are to replace the remaining VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2s over to Arriva Merseyside which were new back in 2014 branded as Cymru Coastliner and have worked on these routes all their lives.

During the launch we were all invited into the depot with safety precautions worn such as a high viz vest (after the officials were in first whiles setting to photograph the new fleet for the news headlines) whiles in the depot premises we had a look round on the new Evoras and getting photos of the new features such as interior photo captions. We then all had a ride on the new Evora for a little round trip going as far as to Tan y Lon, Ty'n yr Hendre. The Arriva staff have had their round trips on the new Evora also. These new Evoras will have the best possible service for passengers once they enter into service during the month. These will leave 10 in Bangor depot with one spare and the other 2 to be kept in Llandudno outstation for their 5 services.
